East Ridge Community Church is Moving

In 2008 or early 2009, East Ridge Community Church (ERCC) will be moving from its current location near the main Hudson Valley Community College campus. Our goal is to construct or acquire a suitable building that will allow us to continue ministry to residents of the Route 4 corridor. We are open to the possibility of being "built in" to an existing or soon-to-be-constructed residential or commercial development.


ERCC Approach to Ministry

ERCC is a interdenominational Christian church devoted to helping people draw closer to God. Service and outreach to neighbors is a foundational part of ERCC's approach to ministry.

ERCC's worship service is held on Sunday morning at 10:00. Programs for children are available during the Sunday service twice a month. Adult and children classes begin at 9:00 AM.


Requirements for New Construction Property

• Location near or on Route 4 between Vanderburgh Avenue and Routes 9 & 20.


• Visibility from Route 4 and/or Route 90 is preferred.


• Building lot must contain 6 to 7 acres suitable for parking lot and church building(s)


• Town water and sewer


• Access to main roads

Post Rehabilitation Requirements for Existing Buildings or Build-to-Suit Arrangements

• 7,000-8,000 square feet total space
• Youth classroom and child care space (possible use as church-sponsored child care on weekdays)
• Chapel seating for 350 suitable for Sunday worship, acoustics are important
• Fellowship space for large group events (e.g., brunch, community events)
• Kitchen
• Main office / reception area
• Pastor office / private counseling room
• Building should be near parking for approximately 100 cars (more parking will be needed as congregation grows)
• Expansion Potential. Building should be situated on lot in a way that would allow future expansion/addition.
• Location near or on Route 4 between Vanderburgh Avenue and Routes 9 & 20.
• Visibility from Route 4 and/or Route 90 is preferred.
• Signage site away from building may be necessary depending on visibility from major thoroughfares.
